Returns & Exchanges

At Maximal House, we want you to love your purchase. We comply with the Australian Consumer Law, which guarantees your rights relating to faulty, damaged or misdescribed products. In addition, we offer the following returns policy:

1. Change of Mind Returns

If you’ve changed your mind, we offer store credit or an exchange (no refunds) under the following conditions:

  • Return request is made within 30 days of receiving your order

  • Items are unused, unwashed, in original condition, and in their original packaging

  • Return shipping is at the customer’s expense

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable

We reserve the right to refuse a return if it does not meet these conditions.

2. 30-Day Bunch-Free Guarantee

We’re so confident in our SnugStay Quilt Covers that we offer a 30-Day Bunch-Free Guarantee. If your quilt shifts or bunches inside the cover—even with the clips correctly attached—we’ll offer you a full refund.

To be eligible:

  • All SnugStay clips must be attached and used as intended

  • The quilt cover must be freshly laundered, with no stains, smells, or bodily fluids

  • Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer

  • Refunds apply to the product only—shipping costs are non-refundable

  • Valid for first-time purchases only

  • Change-of-mind returns are not covered under this guarantee

3. Faulty or Damaged Items

If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or not as described, contact us at hello@maximalhouse.com within 14 days of receiving your order. We’ll arrange a repair, replacement or refund, as required under Australian Consumer Law.

4. How to Start a Return

To begin your return or exchange:

  1. Visit our Returns Page and complete the form

  2. Once approved, you’ll receive instructions and a return address

  3. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we are not responsible for lost returns

5. Changes to this Return Policy

Maximal House reserves the right to make changes to this return policy at any time. Any updates or modifications will be posted on our website, and the effective date will be revised accordingly.
